Start from a sound that already works
Choose a preset such as Deep House Sub, Trap 808, Acid Squelch or Reese Motion. Every preset is level-matched, so switching between them compares sound, not loudness.
Shape it with six knobs
Weight, Tone, Punch, Length, Drive and Move each have a centre detent: in the centre you hear the preset, left is less, right is more, the same on every sound.
See what you hear
Amber displays on the gold panel draw the oscillator, the filter response, both envelopes on a real time scale and the LFO, including what the macros are doing to them.
